**Job Title:** Product Content Lead
**Role Summary:**
Lead and execute the end-to-end content strategy for a consumer health app, driving user activation, engagement, behavior change, and retention. Own the content roadmap, produce high‑quality in‑app content, and build a scalable content organization that integrates seamlessly with product launches and monetization flows.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver a content roadmap aligned with product strategy, user insights, and quarterly priorities.
- Produce, refine, and optimise diverse content formats (in‑app articles, videos, scripts, guides, social, short‑form).
- Build and manage a high‑performance content team and freelance network.
- Establish efficient editorial workflows, QA systems, and data‑driven decision tools.
- Leverage advanced photo/video editing and AI‑enhanced tools to scale production and elevate quality.
- Champion inclusive, evidence‑aligned, behavior‑science‑based content across all user segments.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Own the product content roadmap and ensure it supports product KPIs.
2. Collaborate with Product Lead and cross‑functional teams to embed content into onboarding, coaching, habit‑formation journeys, feature launches, and monetisation flows.
3. Create, edit, and publish high‑quality content: in‑app texts, behavior‑change scripts, videos, guides, social media formats, and short‑form content.
4. Build and lead a scalable content organization (in‑house specialists + freelancers/contractors).
5. Develop and maintain editorial processes, QA systems, and documentation for a modern, data‑driven content operation.
6. Use AI‑powered tools for content production, editing, and workflow automation.
7. Define KPIs, build dashboards, analyse performance trends, and run structured A/B tests to drive optimisation.
8. Ensure all content complies with inclusivity, evidence alignment, and behaviour‑science best practices.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years in content strategy, creation, and production in consumer digital products.
- 1–3+ years leading content teams/functions.
- Proven ability to develop content roadmaps tied to product metrics (activation, engagement, retention, revenue).
- Strong analytical skills: dashboards, KPI setting, experimentation, insight derivation.
- Hands‑on advanced video and visual editing; proficiency in AI‑enhanced content workflows.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling across in‑app, visual, video, long‑form, and educational formats.
- Experience delivering high‑impact content for diverse age groups.
- Ability to iterate quickly, lead strategically, and execute hands‑on.
- Familiarity with nutrition, coaching, behavioural science, or medical content is a plus.
- Background in health, wellness, weight‑loss, habit formation or coaching products is a bonus.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- No mandatory certifications required; knowledge of content analytics tools and project management software preferred.
