**Job title** Summer Intern, Investments – Global Portfolio Management **Role Summary** Season‑long internship in a flagship investment team focused on liability‑driven portfolio management. Intern supports portfolio managers and analysts in monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing assets across public and private markets to meet net yield targets. **Expectations** - Enrolled full‑time university student in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Actuarial Science or equivalent. - Strong analytical, written and verbal communication. - Detail‑oriented and self‑motivation. - Maintain confidentiality. - Passion for financial markets, especially fixed income. **Key Responsibilities** - Design and implement process improvements to streamline investment workflow. - Collaborate on ad‑hoc analysis and projects for portfolio managers and analysts. - Build and enhance portfolio‑management reports using BlackRock Solutions, Excel, and internal data warehouses. - Ensure timely, accurate review and analysis of holdings and portfolio risk information for CIO, credit research, and accounting teams. - Assist with strategic asset allocation execution. - Prepare analysis for business‑line communications and leadership meetings. - Participate in special projects, committees, and cross‑functional initiatives. **Required Skills** - Advanced MS Excel and MS Word. - Python, SQL or other programming skills preferred. - Process‑automation and data‑analysis experience. - Strong verbal and written communication. - Attention to detail and problem‑solving. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current full‑time enrollment in accredited university, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Actuarial Science, or related field. - No additional certifications required.
