Job Description
Job title: Data Engineering Intern Role Summary: Design and implement an end‑to‑end data processing pipeline for marketing interaction data, integrating sources into a Snowflake data warehouse, transforming the data with Python, and delivering insights to a Qlik Cloud BI environment. Expectations: - Graduate level candidate (Bachelor +4/5) or current Master student in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field. - Strong SQL and Python proficiency. - Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and communicate technical solutions to a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities: - Collect and ingest data from multiple marketing and campaign sources. - Build robust ETL/ELT pipelines into Snowflake using SQL. - Apply data transformations and feature engineering in Python (Pandas, NumPy). - Maintain pipeline workflows with Dagster. - Deploy and schedule jobs on AWS services (Redshift, S3, DynamoDB). - Publish processed datasets to Qlik Cloud for use in the Ignition segmentation product. - Collaborate with data & product teams to refine data models and improve pipeline efficiency. Required Skills: - Advanced SQL; experience with Snowflake. - Python programming, especially data science libraries (pandas, scikit‑learn, numpy). - ETL/ELT concepts, pipeline orchestration (Dagster or equivalent). - Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices. - Working knowledge of AWS cloud services (Redshift, S3, DynamoDB). - Basic understanding of Qlik or similar BI tools. - Strong analytical mindset; ability to troubleshoot and optimize data workflows. Required Education & Certifications: - Enrollment or completion of an engineering or Master’s program in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent (Bac + 4/5). - No mandatory certifications required, but experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and data modeling (star schema, normalization) are advantageous.
