Job Description
**Job Title** Associate HR Business Partner **Role Summary** Provide strategic HR partnership and business advisory services to a division. Act as a key internal consultant, manage relationships, resolve complex employee and business queries, and drive continuous improvement within People Services and the wider HR agenda. **Expectations** Deliver timely, high‑quality HR support that meets or exceeds business expectations. Actively promote a culture of service excellence and digital self‑service. Collaborate across HR and business functions while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. **Key Responsibilities** - Serve as an internal HR consultant for the division, addressing complex queries and requests. - Build and maintain proactive relationships with business leaders, HR, and wider teams. - Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities, proposing solutions and best practices. - Escalate issues through agreed paths and resolve or manage effectively. - Represent People Services, advocating digital and self‑service tools. - Deliver quality work within agreed timelines and budgets. - Support wider HR initiatives aligned with the BBC HR agenda. - Coach and model service‑excellence behaviors for teams. - Use data and analytics to measure and enhance people solutions. - Facilitate two‑way communication between business and HR, translating requirements. - Transfer knowledge across divisions and the HR function. - Represent HR internally and externally as appropriate. **Required Skills** - Proven HR Advisor or Business Partner experience. - Experience working in complex or matrix organisational structures. - Strong interpersonal, influencing, and persuasion abilities. - Analytical and problem‑solving skills, with capacity to handle logistical complexity. - Process improvement tool knowledge and application. - Proficiency with IT tools and HR systems. - Ability to foster team spirit and shared ownership of objectives. - Self‑driven continuous learning and career development mindset. **Required Education & Certifications** - Degree‑level education (Business, Human Resources, or equivalent). - HR professional qualification (e.g., CIPD Level 5/6) or equivalent HR credential. ---
