Job Description

**Job Title** Quality Assurance Tester **Role Summary** Execute and own the end‑to‑end testing strategy for a fast‑growing SaaS product. Conduct exploratory, automated UI and API tests, define quality gates, and ensure release confidence while embedding QA into CI/CD pipelines. **Expectations** - 3+ years of professional QA/testing experience. - Proven leadership in building and scaling automated test suites. - Ability to travel to the office 3 days a week (hybrid role). - Drive quality culture, aim to evolve into Head of QA within 12–18 months. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Design, develop and maintain robust test plans for new features. 2. Build and sustain automated UI and API test suites using Playwright, Cypress or equivalent. 3. Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and non‑functional issues. 4. Define and enforce quality gates and release criteria across builds. 5. Track, analyze and report quality metrics and test coverage. 6. Collaborate with engineering to reproduce, triage, and verify defect fixes. 7. Champion best‑practice testing standards and provide coaching to peers. 8. Integrate QA processes into CI/CD pipelines and automate test execution. **Required Skills** - Strong automation experience (Playwright, Cypress, or similar). - API testing proficiency (Postman, REST). - CI/CD and test integration knowledge (Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.). - SQL for data validation and reporting. - Detail‑oriented, methodical testing mindset. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field *or* equivalent professional experience. - ISTQB or similar QA certification preferred but not mandatory. ---
