Job Description
**Job Title** International Business Developer (Internship) **Role Summary** Support the international expansion of an energy storage and electrification company by researching target markets, identifying local partners, assisting with regulatory approvals, and representing the firm at industry events and communications. **Expectations** - Complete a 3‑6 month internship beginning March 2026. - Deliver partner prospecting lists, market intelligence reports, and draft business case documents. - Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration between sales, engineering, and regulatory teams. - Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and trade shows across France and Europe. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Partner Identification & Qualification** – Scout and evaluate local developers, grid operators, and municipal authorities in new European markets. 2. **Regulatory & Technical Analysis** – Understand national frameworks, technical standards, and administrative procedures; support permit and approval processes. 3. **Business Development Outreach** – Initiate and lead contact through email, calls, and virtual meetings with potential partners; qualify opportunities and track engagement. 4. **Stakeholder Representation** – Present the company’s solutions, pitches, and technical proposals at client meetings, industry events, and conferences. 5. **Market & Strategy Analysis** – Conduct country‑level market studies, benchmarks, and competitor analyses to inform geographic prioritisation and deployment models. 6. **Cross‑Functional Projects** – Provide ad‑hoc support on strategy, offer structuring, and other high‑level business initiatives within the Business Department. **Required Skills** - Strong analytical ability with attention to detail. - Autonomous, results‑oriented mindset; able to prioritise tasks. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English (required). - Persuasive presentation and negotiation skills. - Familiarity with the energy sector and energy‑storage technologies. - Ability to navigate complex, multi‑jurisdictional regulatory environments. - Comfortable collaborating across technical, commercial, and regulatory teams. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor +4 / +5 level (e.g., university, business school, or engineering institute) with a focus on commercial strategy or business development. - Demonstrated interest and/or experience in international energy or infrastructure projects is strongly preferred. ---
