**Job Title**
SCADA Engineer – AVEVA System Platform
**Role Summary**
Design, develop, and validate SCADA applications using AVEVA System Platform for critical railway infrastructure. Collaborate on system architecture, integrate field data from PLCs, create operator interfaces, and ensure seamless interaction with data warehouses, MES, and ERP systems. Provide documentation, support deployment, and offer on‑site technical assistance when required.

- Maintain high technical quality across design, integration, testing, and implementation phases.
- Communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and external vendors.
- Demonstrate autonomy, analytical rigor, and initiative in problem‑solving.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and code SCADA applications (InTouch, Historian, Application Server) on AVEVA System Platform.
- Define software and hardware architecture for supervisory systems.
- Map and integrate field‑level data from PLCs (Siemens, Schneider, etc.) using industrial protocols.
- Develop graphical interfaces (HMIs) and supervision schematics.
- Implement data exchange with external systems (databases, MES, ERP).
- Execute functional and integration testing, validation, and commissioning activities.
- Produce technical documentation: specifications, procedures, test reports.
- Participate in commissioning and provide on‑site technical support as needed.
**Required Skills**
- Deep knowledge of AVEVA System Platform (InTouch, Historian, Application Server).
- Proficiency with industrial communication protocols: Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP, etc.
- Hands‑on experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Schneider, or equivalent).
- Competence in version control systems (Git, SVN) and Windows Server environments.
- Familiarity with industrial cybersecurity principles (advantageous).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Minimum Master’s level (Bac +5) in Industrial Automation, Controlling, or Computer Engineering.
- 5–10 years of proven experience designing and implementing industrial supervision systems in critical sectors (transport, energy, manufacturing).
- Relevant industrial automation certifications (e.g., Siemens, Schneider, AVEVA) are desirable.
