Job Description
**Job Title:** Health and Safety Manager **Role Summary:** Ensures compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards across a high-profile data center construction project, fostering a strong safety culture and mitigating risks. **Expectations:** - Hold a recognized HSQE qualification (e.g., NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction or IOSH). - Minimum 3 years of HSQE experience in construction, preferably in data center or M&E sectors. - Proven ability to manage compliance, deliver training, and produce detailed reports. - Strong communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead development and maintenance of HSQE documentation (safety plans, risk assessments, method statements). - Conduct regular site inspections and produce actionable reports to ensure regulatory compliance. - Facilitate site inductions, toolbox talks, and training to promote safety standards. - Manage investigations into accidents/incidents and implement corrective actions. - Coordinate safety documentation review with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. - Provide daily/weekly HSQE reporting to internal teams and external stakeholders. **Required Skills:** - HSQE compliance management. - Risk assessment and method statement preparation. - Interpersonal and stakeholder communication. - Report writing and data analysis. - Project planning and organizational skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction or equivalent (e.g., IOSH). - Minimum 3 years’ construction HSQE experience; data center/M&E experience preferred.
