Job Description

**Job Title:** Systems Engineer (Validation & Verification) **Role Summary:** Provide systems engineering support for infrastructure and facilities projects, managing requirements, verification and validation (V&V), and stakeholder engagement. Apply systems‑thinking to scope, design, and deliver solutions in regulated sectors such as nuclear, marine, or oil & gas, ensuring technical documentation and project outcomes meet client expectations. **Expectations:** - Deliver accurate requirements capture and V&V plans on schedule. - Facilitate effective stakeholder workshops and maintain clear communication of scope changes. - Produce high‑quality technical documentation and peer‑reviewed reports. - Support project planning, estimating, and coordination within multidisciplinary teams. - Maintain eligibility for security clearance and adhere to industry regulations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead requirements management and verification/validation planning for infrastructure projects. - Conduct stakeholder workshops, capture needs, and translate them into clear system specifications. - Develop and maintain requirement sets, interface definitions, logical architectures, and V&V plans. - Collaborate with engineering discipline leads to define Statements of Work and obtain necessary technical input. - Assist client leadership in goal alignment, idea generation, and work‑stream expansion. - Prepare, compile, and peer‑review project and technical reports. - Manage workload planning, estimation, scheduling, and coordination for multi‑disciplinary teams. - Adapt to evolving project requirements and communicate changes to all parties. - Promote systems‑thinking approaches to legacy‑system environments and real‑world constraints. - Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the engagement. **Required Skills:** - Requirements engineering and management - Verification & Validation (V&V) methodology - Systems‑thinking and integration principles - Stakeholder facilitation and communication - Project lifecycle knowledge (concept to O&M) - Experience in regulated industries (nuclear, marine, oil & gas) - Ability to work with legacy systems and evolving problem sets - Eligible for security clearance **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline (minimum). - 2+ years of systems engineering experience in a highly regulated sector. - No specific certifications listed; relevant industry certifications (e.g., INCOSE SECP, PMP) are advantageous.
