**Job Title**
Delivery Manager / Scrum Master – Insurance
**Role Summary**
Lead and coach multiple cross‑functional agile teams on a key insurance platform delivery programme. Coordinate sprint sequencing, manage dependencies, oversee releases, and ensure product quality within a CI/CD environment. Act as the primary liaison between engineering, product, and stakeholders to keep the programme on schedule and within scope.
**Expectations**
- 6‑month contract (extensible) with hybrid on‑site availability (travel to office 2–3 times per week as required).
- Demonstrated ability to deliver software in an insurance or regulated financial services context (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong servant‑leadership style, fostering high‑performance agile teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Facilitate daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, review, and retrospective ceremonies for multiple Scrum teams.
- Prioritise and sequence backlog items, manage cross‑team dependencies, and mitigate risks.
- Coordinate and enable continuous integration, delivery, and testing activities; maintain high quality standards and defect resolution.
- Release planning and execution: work with release managers to schedule and communicate releases.
- Engage with product owners, stakeholders, and business sponsors to ensure clear requirements and expectations.
- Provide regular programme status reporting (burn‑down, velocity, risks, blockers) to senior leadership.
- Champion agile best practices, tooling, and process improvement initiatives across teams.
**Required Skills**
- Proven experience as a Delivery Manager, Scrum Master, or Agile Delivery Lead.
- Expertise in agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, or similar) and facilitation of ceremonies.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud or on‑premise deployment environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent sprint projects, track progress, and drive continuous improvement.
- Comfortable travelling to an office site for intermittent on‑site coordination.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent agile certification (preferred).
