Job Description
**Job title:** IT Governance and Cybersecurity Coordinator **Role Summary:** Coordinate development, implementation, and maintenance of governance frameworks across the organization. Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOX, and internal policies, proactively manage cybersecurity risks, and support incident response and continuous improvement initiatives. **Expactations:** - 1–3 years in IT governance, cybersecurity, or compliance roles. - Fluency in English and strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. - Proactive, detail‑oriented, and collaborative with a basic project‑management mindset. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, implement, and monitor cybersecurity controls for infrastructure and applications. - Conduct vulnerability management (scanning, reporting, remediation tracking). - Coordinate incident response, maintain logs, and liaise with SOC and third‑party vendors. - Develop and deliver security awareness programs to staff. - Perform risk assessments, maintain the IT risk register, and support business continuity/disaster recovery testing. - Manage IT governance processes, update policies, standards, and procedures. - Support ISO 27001 ISMS operations, internal audits, evidence collection, and corrective‑action follow‑up. - Assist in documenting, testing, and remediating IT General Controls for SOX compliance. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency with GRC and SIEM tools, Excel, and Word. - Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills. - Analytical mindset and proactive problem‑solving. - Knowledge of regulatory frameworks: ISO 27001, SOX, ITIL. - Project‑management competence. - Collaborative, proactive approach to change management. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field. - ITIL Foundation certification required. - Certification in ISO 27001 Foundation, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent is a plus.
