Job Title: Chief Risk Officer
Role Summary
Oversee and shape the enterprise risk management (ERM) framework, safeguarding the institution’s assets, capital, and reputation across credit, market, liquidity, operational, and compliance domains. Serve as primary risk advisor to executive leadership and the Board Risk Committee, aligning risk strategy with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop, implement, and govern the ERM framework in line with regulatory and strategic goals.
2. Oversee credit risk governance, including underwriting, portfolio monitoring, exposure limits, and concentration risk.
3. Manage market, liquidity, and treasury risk: monitor liquidity buffers, interest rate and FX exposure, and investment portfolio limits.
4. Design and enforce operational and technology risk controls, covering fraud, cybersecurity, data protection, and vendor risk.
5. Lead stress testing, ICAAP, and appetite calibration exercises; coordinate ALCO reporting.
6. Liaise with regulators and external auditors; ensure compliance with QCB, Basel III, IFRS 9, and related standards.
7. Act as Board Risk Committee secretary; prepare and present risk reports and exposure disclosures.
8. Provide strategic counsel on new products, services, and investments to align with risk appetite and capital adequacy.

Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (required).
