**Role Summary**
Senior leader responsible for translating business strategy into enterprise architecture solutions. Drives enterprise‑wide architecture vision, road‑maps, and standards, ensuring alignment across business, technology, and data domains to enable rapid delivery and sustainable innovation.
**Expectations**
* Lead architecture initiatives across multiple sites with regular travel.
* Influence senior stakeholders, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and act as the enterprise architecture expert.
* Deliver high‑quality architecture artifacts, sustain an architecture community, and support governance and security functions.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Own and evolve the enterprise architecture vision, strategy, and road‑maps, covering current, future, and transitional states.
* Identify change priorities and facilitate cross‑cutting delivery for rapid, risk‑managed transformation.
* Establish architectural principles, policies, and standards; ensure they are applied consistently.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to align decisions with EA strategy, providing direction and challenging assumptions.
* Conduct horizon scans for emerging industry trends and assess their organizational impact.
* Develop and maintain enterprise architecture deliverables throughout project life‑cycles.
* Support domain assurance and governance, ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and digital design requirements.
* Work with agile, multi‑disciplinary teams, applying agile methods and fostering continuous improvement.
* Serve as a communicator between technical and non‑technical audiences, translating complex concepts into understandable terms.
**Required Skills**
* Proven experience in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF).
* Ability to design business‑technology road‑maps and align strategic initiatives with architecture plans.
* Strong leadership, influencing, and communication skills at a senior level.
* Competence in managing stakeholder expectations and leading cross‑functional teams.
* Knowledge of security, compliance, and governance standards within a public sector context.
* Experience conducting horizon scans and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
* Familiarity with agile delivery and collaborative, interdisciplinary working environments.
**Required Education & Certifications**
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
* Relevant enterprise architecture certification (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent).
* Certifications in Agile, Security, or Governance (e.g., Prince2, PMI-ACP, ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor) are an advantage.
