Expactations: - Demonstrate a strong commitment to learning and professional development. - Maintain high standards of project governance and adherence to internal processes. - Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders. - Manage time efficiently between project duties and academic study. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the delivery of projects worth up to £250 m. - Contribute to the preparation of tender and contract documents. - Help ensure compliance with internal governance and change‑control procedures. - Support the management and delivery of construction projects. - Aid in resource and works planning. - Facilitate project progress meetings with the project team. - Support senior staff in meeting business objectives. Job Description
Job title: InfoSec Manager Role Summary: Lead the protection of personnel, information and assets for a secure facility and its projects. Own and evolve the Facility Security Management System (FSMS), advise project teams on handling protected material, conduct security audits, manage incidents, and communicate risk to senior leadership. Expectations: Deliver compliant, auditable security services to government and commercial stakeholders; embed evidence‑based security culture; maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of government, MOD and industry security policies; achieve measurable improvement in security posture. Key Responsibilities - Own physical security, access control and facility integrity to meet regulatory and contractual requirements. - Design, implement and maintain the FSMS and related procedures, ensuring alignment with evolving defence and security standards. - Act as the primary security adviser to project teams on handling, storage, transfer and destruction of protected material and government assets. - Conduct audits, inspections and risk reviews; identify non‑conformances and drive corrective actions to closure. - Support personnel security vetting and coordinate with Project Managers. - Develop and deliver security training, briefings and guidance to operational teams. - Monitor changes in government, MOD and industry security policy; translate updates into actionable requirements for senior management. - Represent security matters at the Security Committee; provide clear, concise reporting to inform decisions. - Manage day‑to‑day security incidents, investigations, root cause analysis and lessons‑learned dissemination. Required Skills - Proven experience in security management within defence, MOD, government or regulated contracting environments. - In‑depth knowledge of government security frameworks, physical security, protected material handling and related legislation. - Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain security management systems, policies and audit programmes. - Strong communication skills: translate technical security requirements into practical, business‑focused guidance for non‑security audiences. - Meticulous attention to detail, disciplined risk identification, mitigation and documentation. - Stakeholder engagement and influence across all levels; ability to sustain collaborative relationships with project teams and senior leaders. - Experience conducting security audits and driving corrective actions to achieve measurable improvements. - Leadership mindset: proactive, solution‑focused, comfortable taking ownership in mission‑critical environments. Required Education & Certifications - Relevant security‑related qualifications or certifications (e.g., DISA Security Controller, ISO27001 Lead Implementer, CISM, CISA or equivalent). - Eligibility for Security Clearance and willingness to work on site as required. - Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with evolving threats, standards and mitigations.
