**Job Title:** Software Engineer **Role Summary:** Develop and maintain full‑stack applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and React. Collaborate with the engineering team to design, implement, and deliver high‑quality features while ensuring code quality, performance, and security. **Expactations:** - Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code. - Participate in code reviews and automated testing. - Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues. - Keep up with emerging technologies relevant to the stack. - Contribute to process improvements and documentation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and deploy robust services and user‑facing components. - Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices. - Implement unit/integration tests (e.g., Jest, Mocha) and maintain CI/CD pipelines. - Create and maintain API endpoints (RESTful) and integrate with SQL/NoSQL databases. - Produce comprehensive technical documentation. - Collaborate with product and cross‑functional teams to define specifications. **Required Skills:** - Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, React. - Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker (or similar containerisation). - Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha). - Knowledge of RESTful API design and web services architecture. - Competence with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases. - Ability to write secure, maintainable code and perform data modeling. - Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, **or** equivalent professional experience. - Legal right to work in the United Kingdom (no sponsorship).
