IT Operations Manager

Job Description

**Job Title:** IT Operations Manager **Role Summary:** Lead and expand the IT Operations function across the United States and Canada, reporting to the IT Director. Oversee service desk operations, hardware lifecycle, asset management, and cross‑regional collaboration while ensuring compliance with global policies and supporting M&A activities. **Expactations:** - Build and scale a high‑performing IT Operations team. - Maintain service level targets for ticket resolution (Levels 1‑3). - Ensure accurate asset tracking and documentation. - Drive project delivery and inter‑regional coordination. - Uphold corporate and ISO standards in all processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage and coordinate IT operational staff across US & Canada. - Recruit, onboard, and develop the IT Operations team. - Collaborate with IT Director, Development Director, LATAM Operations Manager, and European Group IT Operations Director. - Supervise Service Desk ticket lifecycle (L1‑L3) and escalation handling. - Oversee hardware procurement, deployment, and decommissioning. - Record all IT assets in Jira Asset Manager and maintain configuration data. - Track project progress and deliverables using Jira. - Document processes and policies in Confluence, ensuring global compliance. - Participate in due‑diligence and integration activities for mergers & acquisitions. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience managing IT support/infrastructure teams and escalation processes. - Strong background in order, invoice, and software license management. - Ability to consolidate and coordinate multiple IT projects and understand interdependencies. - Experience implementing corporate guidelines and ISO (e.g., ISO 27001) standards. - Hands‑on knowledge of Microsoft RDP, Azure cloud services, networking fundamentals, and Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence). - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork abilities. - Project management proficiency (Agile/Waterfall). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., ITIL, PMP, Azure Administrator, ISO auditor).
