Job title: Marketplace Manager
Role Summary: Own trading across UK & Ireland marketplaces for both A‑grade (new) and B‑grade (refurbished) products. Drive profitable growth by managing current partners, unlocking new opportunities, and executing a full B‑grade commercial strategy. Work cross‑functionally with eCommerce, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Care to maintain premium brand presence.

- Proven ownership of end‑to‑end marketplace management with strong commercial results (e.g., eBay, Amazon, Debenhams).
- P&L and trading accountability for both A‑grade and B‑grade channels.
- Strong supply‑chain and inventory planning experience.
- Advanced data skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, PowerBI).
- Exceptional relationship building, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
- Ability to balance daily execution with strategy and deliver excellent digital experiences.
- Independent yet collaborative, with a growth mindset and resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and achieve volume, revenue, and margin targets in A‑grade marketplaces; lead expansion into new high‑quality channels.
- Manage forecasting, stock, merchandising, pricing, promotions, and platform experience for A‑grade trading.
- Build and strengthen partner relationships; conduct quarterly business reviews and joint plans.
- Own B‑grade strategy: meet profit and inventory goals on marketplaces such as eBay.
- Grow and manage the B‑grade partner ecosystem, from marketing to supply planning.
- Develop new sales channels and collaborate with refurbishment teams.
- Optimize forecasting, inventory, and commercial negotiations.
- Ensure smooth, compliant trading with internal teams.
- Use BI tools to monitor performance, present results, identify risks and opportunities, and propose market improvements.
Required Skills:
- Marketplace management with proven results on major platforms.
- P&L stewardship and trading accountability.
- Supply chain and inventory planning expertise.
- Advanced proficiency in BI/reporting tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, PowerBI).
- Strong relationship building and negotiation.
- Excellent organizational and deadline management.
- Experience in content optimisation, campaigns, and digital operations.
- Familiarity with integration platforms (e.g., Rithum, Mirakle) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of eCommerce platforms (Adobe Analytics, Magento, etc.).
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Certifications in eCommerce platform management, BI tools, or supply‑chain analytics are desirable.
