Job Description
**Job Title** Maintenance Engineering & Improvement Manager (H/F) **Role Summary** Lead the maintenance engineering function for airport baggage handling and security systems under a maintenance contract. Drive performance enhancements, manage a multidisciplinary team, maintain data integrity, and ensure contractual KPIs are met while collaborating closely with clients and internal stakeholders. **Expectations** - Deliver measurable improvements in plant performance and reliability. - Maintain and enhance contractual service levels and KPIs. - Ensure accurate, compliant GMAO data and reporting. - Communicate effectively with clients, project directors, and technical teams. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Lead and coordinate a cross‑functional maintenance team. 2. Identify, propose, and implement technical upgrades to improve system performance. 3. Manage the maintenance contract, tracking KPIs and contractual obligations. 4. Translate performance strategy into GMAO (Carl Source) processes in partnership with method managers. 5. Conduct reliability studies, root‑cause analysis, and support operational maintenance teams. 6. Produce and present monthly activity reports. 7. Participate in client technical and progress meetings. 8. Understand and troubleshoot sorting system operations, including interface between software and automation. 9. Oversee client‑requested evolution projects, preparing proposals and tracking execution with dedicated teams. **Required Skills** - Engineering background with project management experience. - Proficiency in maintenance practices and GMAO Carl Source administration. - Solid foundation in mechanical, electrical, and automation principles. - Advanced data analysis skills: SQL, VBA, Excel macros. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork. - Fluency in English (written and spoken). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in General Engineering (or equivalent). - Prior experience as a project engineer or maintenance manager on small‑scale projects. - Knowledge of maintenance methodologies and GMAO systems.
