Through workshop and field services, and on-site machining, DCS Group provides high quality maintenance and repair services for ship equipment including:

We provide qualified crews for main and auxiliary engine maintenance, in-house reconditioning of the main engine's major components, including ME engine FIVA testing or RT-flex ICU testing and overhaul.

Additionally, we specialize in Metalock stitching repairs and on-site machining, line boring and both main and auxiliary engine in-situ crankshaft repairs. Our team of 200+ technical specialists travel globally with the specialized tooling for on-board and on-site repairs.

As an Authorized Training Centre for WinGD, we provide training for WinGD main engines, systems and technologies at our Singapore location, while all our locations serve customers with technical consultancy in addition to technical services.

Job Description

Job title: Python & Power BI Developer (M/F) Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain Python applications for industrial camera control and data pipelines, and create Power BI dashboards that meet UX/UI specifications. Collaborate with stakeholders, document requirements, and ensure alignment with project goals. Expectations: - Deliver robust, scalable solutions within defined timeframes. - Communicate progress and technical insights clearly to non‑technical stakeholders. - Maintain high documentation and coding standards. - Demonstrate strong teamwork while exercising independent judgment. Key Responsibilities: - Develop a Python application to control an industrial camera, preferred experience with pypylon. - Build and manage an Access Online data pipeline (Query, extraction, loading). - Create two Power BI applications by assembling existing dashboards and respecting UX/UI specifications. - Analyze user requirements, produce functional specifications, and craft technical documentation. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, provide estimates, and meet sprint commitments. - Use GitLab for version control, code review, and continuous integration. - Contribute to knowledge sharing and process improvement initiatives. Required Skills: - Proficient in Python; experience with pypylon or similar camera control libraries. - Expertise in Power BI (dashboard creation, data modeling, DAX). - Familiarity with data platforms such as DataBricks or DataIku. - Version control proficiency (GitLab). - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. - Excellent communication and documentation abilities. - Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree (Bac +3/4) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience. - No mandatory certifications required, though knowledge of ISO 27001 or related security standards is a plus.
