Job Title: Lead Informatics Product Manager
Role Summary: Leads product strategy, vision, and delivery for core components of a next‑generation data platform in the life sciences sector. Coordinates cross‑functional teams, shapes AI‑ready architectures, and ensures compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Expectations:
- Own end‑to‑end product lifecycle from discovery to market.
- Drive cross‑regional collaboration with scientists, engineers, and partners.
- Deliver measurable impact on R&D, QC, and manufacturing workflows.
- Maintain high standards of product quality, scalability, and regulatory alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and own product vision and roadmap for major product pillars.
- Conduct customer discovery, identify high‑impact opportunities, and iterate on product concepts.
- Define user stories, data models, technical specifications, and API standards.
- Collaborate with engineering on microservices architecture and cloud‑native design.
- Champion interoperability, FAIR data principles, and AI/ML readiness.
- Lead backlog prioritization, Agile delivery, and cross‑functional squad execution.
- Define release criteria, monitor telemetry, and drive continuous improvement.
- Partner with Product Marketing for positioning, packaging, and go‑to‑market strategy.
- Support Sales, Services, and Partners with product narratives and reference architectures.
- Ensure alignment with GxP, ALCOA+, 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, and enterprise data governance.
Required Skills:
- 7–10+ years of B2B SaaS product management in life sciences or scientific software.
- Technical expertise in computer science, engineering, bioinformatics, or chemistry.
- Experience with lab informatics (ELN, LIMS, SDMS, CDS, LES, MES) and/or lab automation (OPC UA, SiLA2).
- Strong knowledge of data standards, ontologies, FAIR frameworks, and knowledge graphs.
- Proficient with REST/GraphQL APIs, data schemas, and cloud‑native architectures.
- Demonstrated success delivering complex, multi‑stakeholder products.
- Familiarity with regulated environments (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder alignment, and leadership skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Bioinformatics, Chemistry, or related STEM field.
- Product Management certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, PMI‑ACP) preferred but not mandatory.
