Job title: Senior AI / NLP Engineer
Role Summary: Design, develop, and optimize advanced AI, NLP, and machine‑learning solutions—especially large‑language models and retrieval‑augmented generation—for mission‑critical, scalable systems. Lead experimentation, integrate state‑of‑the‑art models into production, and collaborate cross‑functionally to embed AI capabilities into operational workflows.
Expactations: Deliver production‑ready, high‑performing NLP models; ensure rigorous testing, CI/CD integration, and robust documentation. Drive continual improvement through A/B testing, experimentation, and research on emerging AI/ML trends. Communicate complex technical insights effectively to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Architect and implement end‑to‑end NLP pipelines (tokenization, NER, classification, clustering) and fine‑tune transformer‑based models (e.g., GPT, BERT).
• Develop scalable ML application architectures with efficient Python development and model serving strategies.
• Conduct research on cutting‑edge AI/ML developments, evaluate feasibility, and prototype integrations into existing systems.
• Lead experimentation initiatives, including A/B tests, to validate model performance, scalability, and bias mitigation.
• Produce clear reports and visual insights translating model outputs into actionable recommendations.
• Maintain high‑quality standards through unit testing, end‑to‑end testing, CI/CD pipelines, and comprehensive technical documentation.
Required Skills
• 6–8+ years of professional experience in AI/NLP/ML.
• Strong command of Python and libraries: Pandas, spaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face.
• Hands‑on with TensorFlow or PyTorch and transformer‑based models.
• Proficient in SQL (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (Elasticsearch, MongoDB).
• Experience building GPU‑optimized, scalable ML systems and deploying models in production.
• Solid foundation in statistical modeling, experimentation design, and bias mitigation.
• Knowledge of predictive modeling, recommendation engines, or topic detection.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
Required Education & Certifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (specialization in AI, NLP, or ML is a plus).
