**Job Title**
Network & Security Engineer – Python Automation (M/F)
**Role Summary**
Design, develop, and maintain automated solutions for network and security operations. Develop Python and Bash scripts, integrate security logs into SIEM, configure security policies, and ensure operational readiness of security infrastructure.
**Expectations**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Automate network and security operational processes using orchestration tools and workflows.
- Develop and maintain Python and Bash automation scripts, connectors, and playbooks (API integration, data analysis, exploitation).
- Integrate and consume security logs within a SIEM platform; manage log collection and centralization for systems and applications.
- Implement and update network security policies (firewalls, filtering, flow openings).
- Keep security infrastructures (firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, SOAR) fully operational.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of secured platforms (PKI, DNS, monitoring).
- Produce technical and architectural documentation.
**Required Skills**
- Strong Python and Bash scripting; experience with API integration and data processing.
- Working knowledge of network equipment, firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, and SOAR solutions.
- Familiarity with SIEM and log management tools.
- DevOps tools: Git, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Ansible; experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
- Proficiency with SOAR platforms (e.g., Cortex XSOAR, Splunk Phantom, Swimlane).
- Understanding of SOC, incident response, EDR, and security operations fundamentals.
- Structured approach to process improvement and automation.
- Excellent written communication for documentation.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Security, Telecommunications, or related field.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CCNA/CCNP Security, CFCE, or equivalent) preferred.
