Job Title: Solutions Engineer
Role Summary: Acts as the technical liaison between Sales, Product, and Engineering to deliver tailored post‑sales implementations. Drives customer success by scoping, executing, and documenting solutions while creating repeatable playbooks.
Expectations: Deliver high‑quality, on‑time deployments, maintain clear communication with stakeholders, and proactively identify and mitigate project risks. Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and the ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end post‑sales implementation projects, including scoping, planning, and milestone tracking.
- Collaborate with founders, CSMs, and cross‑functional teams throughout the customer journey.
- Gather and analyze user business objectives, fund flows, and technical requirements to articulate value.
- Differentiate essential versus optional features, incorporating customer feedback into deployment plans.
- Document implementation plans, project milestones, dependencies, and ownership for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate risks (scope creep, resource constraints, stakeholder engagement) and escalate issues as needed.
- Convert live deployments into reusable playbooks, frameworks, and best practices to support scalable growth.
Required Skills
- 5+ years in Technical Project Management, Solution Engineering, or Sales/Success roles in scale‑up or enterprise settings.
- Strong software engineering background, preferably in Payments or FinTech.
- Expertise in ledgering, payment integrations, complex money flows, and open‑source technologies.
- Exceptional scoping, negotiation, and project execution abilities.
- High emotional intelligence, patience, and strategic thinking.
- Ownership mentality, initiative, and accountability for task completion.
- Proficiency in documentation tools, project management platforms, and collaboration software.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, ScrumMaster, CSCS) preferred but not mandatory.
