**Job Title**
Systems and Network Engineer (F/M)
**Role Summary**
Provide third‑level technical support and actively participate in high‑impact projects. Own the stability, availability, and security of virtualized, storage, containerized, and networked environments for internal and client workloads. Drive continuous improvement of IT services through documentation, KPI monitoring, and process reviews.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in complex IT environments.
- Proven administration of Linux and Windows systems in virtualized infrastructures (VMware, KVM).
- Strong backup and disaster‑recovery expertise with Veeam or Nakivo.
- Experience with enterprise storage solutions (vSAN, Ceph, NetApp, Datacore).
- Ability to manage multi‑territory networks (VLAN, VPN, LACP, firewalls, switching) and apply security best practices (ISO 27001, HDS).
- Comfortable collaborating across time zones using M365, Teams, and other collaboration tools.
- Fluency in technical English for documentation and remote support.
- Self‑directed, organized, and proactive with excellent communication skills.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Technical Support & Project Participation**
- Deliver Level 3 support for incidents, change requests, and user requests.
- Assist internal teams (Support, Operations, Deployment) with troubleshooting.
- Contribute to internal and external projects using a structured, quality‑oriented approach.
- Participate in R&D initiatives aligned with business needs.
2. **Infrastructure Maintenance & Evolution**
- Ensure stability, availability, and security of internal and client infrastructures.
- Administer virtualized environments (VMware, KVM), Linux and Windows OS, and storage solutions (vSAN, Ceph, NetApp).
- Manage backup policies (Veeam, Nakivo) and maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation.
- Deploy and maintain container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, LXC) for scalable, resilient services.
- Perform on‑site data‑center maintenance and environment provisioning.
3. **Network Management & Security**
- Configure and optimize VLANs, VPNs, LACP, firewalls, and switches across multiple sites.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and reporting (DVS, NetOps tools).
- Detect, analyze, and resolve network incidents; enforce continuity.
4. **Continuous Improvement & Governance**
- Author and enforce technical procedures and reference frameworks.
- Define, track, and report KPIs to improve infrastructure efficiency.
- Process RQS/RQE, anticipate friction points, and propose corrective actions.
- Review incident reports and processes to increase reliability.
**Required Skills**
- Virtualization: VMware vSphere, KVM, Hyper‑V (advanced).
- Operating Systems: Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu), Windows Server.
- Storage: vSAN, Ceph, NetApp, Datacore.
- Backup & DR: Veeam, Nakivo, replication.
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, LXC.
- Networking: VLAN, VPN, LACP, firewalling, switching, routing.
- Monitoring & Metrology: DVS, Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana.
- Security: ISO 27001, HDS, access control, threat modeling.
- Documentation: Confluence, SharePoint, SOPs.
- Collaboration: M365, Teams, Asana/Trello, Git.
- Languages: Technical English (reading/writing).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Professional certifications (preferred):
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) – Infrastructure or Cloud/SD‑WAN.
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or LPIC‑3.
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Fundamentals or Advanced.
- Veeam Certified Engineer (VCE) or similar.
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent networking cert.
- ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or equivalent security certification.
