Job Description: Job title: Senior Full‑Stack Developer (F/M) Role Summary: Build and maintain modern web applications for the insurance sector using Java and a front‑end framework (React or Angular). Participate in the full product lifecycle in an Agile setting, from conception to deployment, while strengthening architectural decisions and ensuring high quality through testing. Expectations: • Minimum 5 years of professional development experience. • Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in cross‑functional teams. • Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. • A drive for continuous learning and applying innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Analyse functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Contribute to architecture discussions and design critical system components. • Develop, test, and deliver clean, maintainable code in Java with React or Angular. • Perform unit, integration, and functional testing; fix bugs and optimise performance. • Propose and champion better technical solutions and best practices. • Participate in Agile ceremonies (scrum, stand‑ups, planning, retrospectives). Required Skills: • Java (Spring/Spring Boot) – 5 + years of hands‑on experience. • Front‑end expertise in React or Angular (component design, state management). • RESTful API design and consumption. • Relational database proficiency (SQL, JPA/Hibernate). • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, source control (Git), and containerisation (Docker) is a plus. • Strong unit‑testing and TDD mindset (JUnit, Mockito, Jest/Spectron). • Good understanding of Agile development practices. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • Optional certifications: Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE; Certified Scrum Developer; AWS Certified Developer – give preference to candidates who hold relevant industry credentials.
