Job Description
**Job Title:** Senior Quality Assurance Engineer **Role Summary:** Senior QA Engineer responsible for leading testing strategy, automation, and quality assurance across multiple product lines. Works closely with engineering, product, and delivery teams to embed quality into every stage of the software development lifecycle, focusing on defect prevention, test coverage, and process improvement. **Expectations:** - Own end‑to‑end quality for new features and system enhancements. - Drive continuous improvement of testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and quality metrics. - Mentor and coach QA and engineering teams on best practices. - Communicate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders in English. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement comprehensive test strategies (unit, integration, contract, E2E). - Build and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, Postman, and C#. - Set up and refine CI/CD pipelines and testing environments. - Collaborate with product and delivery to define quality criteria and “what good looks like.” - Own quality metrics; report defects, leakage, release cycle time, and customer satisfaction. - Lead initiatives on performance, security, and test data strategy. - Identify edge cases and scalability issues through design‑thinking approaches. - Pair‑program and participate in code reviews to embed quality into development. **Required Skills:** - 5+ years of QA, quality engineering, or related experience. - Strong expertise in test design, strategy, and automation. - Proficiency with Playwright, Cypress, Postman, and C#. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent). - Knowledge of performance or security testing is a plus. - Skilled in using Slack, Microsoft Teams, Jira, and other collaboration tools. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. - Master’s degree is a plus. - Professional testing certification (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is advantageous.
