**Job Title:** Mobile Application Developer – React Native
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, test, and maintain high‑quality cross‑platform mobile applications using React Native that interface directly with smart devices via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). Own the full mobile app lifecycle, collaborate with backend, hardware, and international teams, and continuously improve app performance and architecture.
**Expections:**
- Deliver production‑ready iOS and Android apps quarterly.
- Uphold coding standards, conduct code reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in agile ceremonies (sprints, retrospectives).
- Travel up to 10 % internationally for product reviews and team collaboration.
- Maintain knowledge of React Native, BLE, CI/CD, and mobile best practices.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Build, test, and ship scalable cross‑platform apps in React Native.
- Design and refine app architecture, ensuring modular, maintainable code.
- Integrate BLE and other device communication protocols with backend services.
- Optimize app performance, memory usage, and battery consumption.
- Write unit, integration, and UI tests; manage releases to App Store and Google Play.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and hardware teams.
- Review pull requests, mentor peers, and enforce best‑practice guidelines.
- Participate in continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and build processes.
**Required Skills:**
- 3–5 + years of mobile app development experience with React Native.
- Proven delivery of iOS and Android apps at production level.
- Strong knowledge of mobile architecture, state management, and dependency injection.
- Experience implementing BLE (or comparable) communication in mobile apps.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Fastlane, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
- Agile development mindset and experience in sprint‑based workflows.
- Excellent debugging, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- No specific certifications required, but knowledge of mobile security best practices is a plus.
**Additional Requirements:**
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).
- Willingness to travel internationally (≈10 %) as needed.
