Job title: SaaS Developer
Role Summary:
Contract‑based SaaS Developer responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining cloud‑based software applications. Works on‑site to troubleshoot, optimize code performance, and integrate solutions with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable SaaS products.
Expectations:
- Proficiency in modern software design, development, and maintenance practices.
- Hands‑on experience with debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization.
- Knowledge of SaaS architecture, multi‑tenant design, and cloud integration.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with product, QA, and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure SaaS modules using industry best practices.
- Develop, test, and deploy code across the full development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot production issues, diagnose root causes, and apply corrective changes.
- Optimize application performance, resource usage, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on requirements, architecture, and delivery timelines.
- Maintain coding standards, documentation, and automated test coverage.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in programming languages commonly used for SaaS (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Node.js).
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and SaaS delivery models.
- Knowledge of relational/non‑relational databases, RESTful APIs, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Debugging, performance monitoring, and logging tools (e.g., ELK stack, Grafana).
- Strong collaboration, written and verbal communication.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Preferred: Prior experience in a SaaS development role; relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate).
