Job Description
Job Title: Senior Frontend Engineer Role Summary: Lead engineering of highly performant, user‑centric web interfaces for a large‑scale community platform. Drive technical direction, collaborate across cross‑functional teams, and ensure quality through rigorous testing and documentation. Expatations: - Autonomous, self‑directed in problem investigation and solution implementation. - Proactive pursuit of bold, creative ideas to enhance platform evolution. - Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration within and beyond the engineering team. - Passion for continuous learning and improvement of technical skills. Key Responsibilities: - Optimize application performance and overall usability to improve user experience. - Participate in sprint planning, working with product and other technical teams. - Propose platform enhancements, technical improvements, and strategies to reduce technical debt. - Author detailed technical specifications for new features. - Ensure high project quality through performance testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices. - Implement unit tests, validate code in pre‑production environments, and contribute to the validation process. Required Skills: - Minimum 5 years experience in JavaScript and functional programming. - Expert-level proficiency with React, Redux, RxJS, and TypeScript (prioritized order). - Strong command of Git source‑control workflow. - (Optional) Knowledge of digital advertising ecosystem – native ad integration, video advertising (VAST/VPAID), programmatic workflows (openRTB, SSP/DSP). Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated experience. No specific certifications required.
