Job Description
**Job Title:** Contract Manager **Role Summary:** Manage and oversee multimillion‑euro contracts for large‑scale CAPEX construction projects within the pharmaceutical sector. Ensure contractual compliance, commercial performance, and risk mitigation while collaborating with engineering, finance, legal, and operations teams. **Expectations:** - Fluency in French and English (written and spoken) - Proven experience on large‑scale CAPEX construction projects in pharma or related industries - Strong business/commercial orientation with design‑construction background - Availability to work on‑site 4 days per week **Key Responsibilities:** - Administer, negotiate, and monitor contracts worth several hundred million euros - Coordinate contract execution with project stakeholders (engineers, suppliers, legal, finance) - Track contractual deliverables, milestones, and financial performance; report deviations - Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks and disputes - Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards specific to pharmaceutical construction - Manage contract changes, extensions, and close‑out procedures **Required Skills:** - Advanced contract management and administration expertise - CAPEX construction project experience, preferably pharma‑related - Bilingual proficiency (French & English) - Strong commercial/financial acumen and negotiation skills - Risk management and problem‑solving abilities - Proficiency with contract management software and MS Office Suite **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Contract Law, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred) - Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS, PMP, CPM) advantageous but not mandatory.
