**Job Title:** Sr. DevOps Administrator
**Role Summary:**
Senior DevOps Administrator responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, secure, and resilient Azure-based infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Leads CI/CD pipeline development, monitors system performance and security, troubleshoots infrastructure issues, and collaborates across development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless application delivery.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 5 years of IT infrastructure experience.
- Minimum 3 years with Azure cloud services and Terraform.
- Availability for after‑hours emergency on‑call rotation.
- Ability to work independently, make architectural decisions without escalation, and drive projects to completion.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, implement, and manage scalable Azure infrastructure with Terraform.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.) to automate deployment.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate and deliver applications.
- Monitor, optimize, and secure system performance, reliability, and availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents promptly.
- Apply IaC practices for consistency and repeatability across environments.
- Make independent architectural and operational decisions.
**Required Skills:**
- Azure services (VMs, App Services, Networking, Storage, etc.).
- Terraform for IaC.
- CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, etc.).
- Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes.
- Optional: Experience with Kubernetes, HDInsight, Kafka, MongoDB, SQL Server.
- Configuration management: Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and detail orientation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration across technical disciplines.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, Terraform Associate, or comparable credentials are preferred.
