We develop and supply a range of software products which are used extensively within the rail and other public transport sectors, covering all aspects of operations planning, scheduling, safety and performance, operations management and business reporting. Our software is recognised as the most advanced intelligent crew scheduling application available and is widely used by many large transport operators. We also offer a wide-ranging consultancy service covering rail planning and strategy as well as performance management and improvement.

We have around 75 permanent employees and operate from three offices in the UK. We also have clients and a track record of undertaking projects in Europe, the Middle East and Australasia.

Opportunity to work alongside experienced teams, gain hands-on development experience, and develop technical expertise in software engineering. **Expectations** Eagerness to learn, passion for technology, and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Write and maintain clean, efficient code adhering to development standards. - Assist senior developers in implementing features and components. - Identify and resolve basic software issues with guidance. - Apply structured problem-solving techniques to debug and troubleshoot. - Participate in unit/integration testing and defect resolution. - Engage in training programs and mentorship to expand technical capabilities. - Collaborate in cross-functional teams while following guidance from senior engineers. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in Java/SQL and RESTful web services. - Basic understanding of programming concepts, algorithms, and software development methodologies (e.g., Agile). - Experience with software development tools (e.g., Git, Linux command line). - Strong analytical and communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
