Job Description
**Job Title** Marketing Assistant (6‑month Fixed‑Term Contract) **Role Summary** Support the delivery of patient‑focused marketing and communications for a large independent hospital group. Create and manage digital and offline content, assist campaign execution, and provide administrative support to the Head of Marketing & Communications. **Expectations** - Proactive, curious, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Flexible with occasional evening or weekend work for events. - High attention to detail, especially when handling confidential patient information. - Strong interpersonal skills to liaise confidently with clinicians and operational teams. **Key Responsibilities** - Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns promoting clinical services, consultants, and patient pathways. - Write, proofread, and edit copy for websites, social media, email newsletters, and printed materials. - Create patient‑friendly content and gather testimonials, case studies, and success stories. - Update website content and consultant profiles using a CMS. - Maintain the marketing calendar and support service launches and events. - Monitor campaign performance via GA4 and social analytics; produce insight reports. - Manage brand assets, update databases, and provide general administrative support. - Contribute ideas based on trend spotting to inform marketing strategy. **Required Skills** - Excellent written and verbal communication with an empathetic tone. - Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities. - Ability to work confidently with clinical staff to obtain accurate information. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CMS platforms and email marketing tools (desirable). - Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop) – desirable. - Interest in digital marketing, SEO, and analytics – desirable. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Eligibility to work in the UK and successful DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
