Senior Full Stack Engineer
**Role Summary**
Lead development and maintenance of both backend services and mobile/web applications at a fast‑paced fintech company. Drive feature delivery, integrations, and continuous improvement across the stack with ownership and high coding standards.
**Expectations**
* 5+ years in full‑stack engineering with proven delivery speed.
* Ability to simplify complex problems and produce clean, maintainable code.
* Strong ownership mindset, collaboration with cross‑functional teams, and commitment to continuous improvement.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design, develop, test, and deploy backend services using TypeScript, gRPC, and cloud‑native infrastructure.
* Build and enhance mobile (React Native) and web (React, Next.js) interfaces.
* Integrate with databases (Vitess, MySQL, CockroachDB, BigQuery) and cache layers (Redis).
* Implement CI/CD pipelines with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GCP Pub/Sub.
* Monitor application health with Grafana, Prometheus, and Sentry; optimize performance and reliability.
* Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision‑making.
* Mentor junior engineers and foster a high‑performance team culture.
**Required Skills**
* Programming: TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL.
* Front‑end: React, React Native, Redux, Next.js.
* Backend: gRPC, microservices architecture.
* Datastores: Vitess, MySQL, CockroachDB, BigQuery, Redis.
* Cloud & Ops: Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Docker, Pub/Sub, Terraform.
* Monitoring & Observability: Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry, Metabase.
* Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork.
**Required Education & Certifications**
* Bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
* Relevant industry certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
