Job Description

**Job Title:** Financial Analyst Intern **Role Summary:** Support a corporate finance team by developing financial models, dashboards, and analyses to inform business decisions. Gain hands‑on experience with financial planning, reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, SQL, SAP), and process improvement initiatives while being mentored by senior analysts. **Expectations:** - Full‑time availability (≈40 hrs/week) for a 10‑12 week internship starting May/June. - Authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship). - Minimum 3.0 GPA (include on résumé). - Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate program with at least two years completed; return to the program after the internship. - Demonstrated analytical aptitude and strong communication skills. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and maintain financial models and KPI dashboards. - Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and business planning analyses. - Identify and recommend process‑efficiency improvements. - Present analytical insights and recommendations to stakeholders. - Assist with month‑end and quarter‑end close activities. - Develop reporting solutions using SAP, EDW, Tableau, or related tools. - Contribute to a summer project to enhance team technical expertise. **Required Skills:** - Advanced analytical and data‑wrangling abilities; experience with quantitative research projects. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Effective written and oral communication; collaborative interpersonal style. - Self‑motivated, curious, and comfortable tackling ambiguous problems. - High integrity handling confidential information. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Undergraduate enrollment in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; at least two years of coursework completed. - GPA ≥ 3.0. - No specific certifications required. - Must meet university hiring program eligibility (full‑time internship availability, US work authorization).
