Job Description

**Job Title** GitGuardian Consultant (Remote) **Role Summary** Consultant responsible for operating, reporting, and integrating the GitGuardian security platform. Will analyze a large backlog of incidents, define and execute remediation strategies, and ensure seamless data flow to SAP ServiceNow/DVI for PSRT processing. **Expectations** - Immediate start, 6‑month contract with high possibility of extension. - Deliver monthly GitGuardian findings reports. - Provide a sustainable, automated integration solution for incident transfer. - Reduce and resolve a backlog of ~25,000 recorded incidents using risk‑based analysis. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Manage daily operation and monitoring of the GitGuardian dashboard. 2. Produce and distribute monthly reports on GitGuardian findings (format to be defined). 3. Design and implement an automated integration to transfer findings to SAP ServiceNow/DVI. 4. Review and prioritize the historical incident backlog. 5. Develop a cost‑benefit and risk‑analysis strategy for backlog remediation. 6. Execute remediation of incidents according to the defined strategy. **Required Skills** - Strong experience with GitGuardian or similar secret‑detection tools. - Proficiency in integrating security findings with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, SAP). - Solid understanding of incident management, risk assessment, and cost‑benefit analysis. - Ability to analyze large data sets (≈25k incidents) and derive actionable insights. - Excellent reporting and documentation skills. - Self‑motivated, able to work independently in a fully remote environment. - Good communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GSEC) preferred but not mandatory.
