Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager Role Summary: Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of complex, high‑impact projects in a defense and security environment. Coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage risk, control cost and schedule, and ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and security requirements. Engage customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within scope and budget. Expactations: Deliver projects that meet or exceed performance KPIs, maintain high quality and compliance standards, and secure timely stakeholder approvals. Provide transparent progress reporting, risk mitigation strategies, and actionable insights to executive leadership. Key Responsibilities: - Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in partnership with stakeholders. - Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor and control changes. - Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle. - Coordinate cross‑functional resources across engineering, operations, and business units. - Prepare and present project status, performance metrics, and risk updates to senior management. - Ensure adherence to contractual, regulatory, and defense security standards. - Support bid and proposal development with accurate project plans and schedules. - Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Required Skills: - Strong project governance, risk management, cost and schedule control. - Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management. - Ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and drive collaboration. - Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field. - 3+ years project management experience in defense, aerospace, or regulated industries. - PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM certification preferred. - Eligibility for Canadian Controlled Goods Certification and security clearance. ---
