**Job title**
Commercial Director – Agricultural Machinery
**Role Summary**
Lead and execute the sales strategy for new agricultural machinery (tractors, combines, harvesters, and ancillary equipment). Drive revenue and margin growth, manage a national sales force, and coordinate cross‑functional activities with marketing, finance, and service teams.
**Expectations**
- Deliver on group sales targets for volume, revenue, and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships and a high‑performing sales team.
- Ensure compliance with commercial and payment policies.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement the commercial policy for tractors and associated equipment in line with corporate strategy.
- Set product ranges, volume targets, and market share goals.
- Forecast budgets, track performance dashboards, and adjust plans based on results.
- Identify priority customers, regions, and segments; set collective and individual sales targets.
- Manage profitability: monitor margins, product mix, and commercial costs.
- Design corrective or growth actions (offers, financing, trade‑ins).
- Translate strategy into actionable plans; coach and evaluate sales force.
- Identify hiring, onboarding, and development needs for the team.
- Enhance commercial tools and processes (CRM, reporting, pipeline, forecasting).
- Collaborate with support services (distribution, technical, parts, marketing, finance).
- Organize marketing and promotion activities (trade shows, client events, media campaigns).
- Monitor client satisfaction metrics, handle complaints, and implement improvement plans.
- Strengthen relationships with key customers and expand new partnerships.
- Conduct competitive and market intelligence on innovation and trends (electrification, precision agriculture, connectivity).
- Oversee sales administration with distribution service (delivery, payment, contract terms).
- Manage inventory and used equipment handling.
- Represent the company with partners and brand manufacturers; negotiate volume, discounts, incentives, and annual agreements.
- Track dealer performance and contractual objectives.

- Valid commercial driver’s licence (where applicable).
