About the Company

EMC2 est une société coopérative, spécialisée dans le secteur agroalimentaire. Le groupe EMC2 compte plus de 3 100 adhérents, plus de 800 salariés et est classé dans les dix plus gros collecteurs français de céréales. Nous sommes situés à Bras-sur-Meuse, et agissons sur une vingtaine de départements. L’histoire de la coopérative EMC2 démarre en 1988 lorsque trois coopératives fusionnent : la Coopérative Agricole de la Meuse, la Coopérative Lorraine Nord et une partie de la Coopérative Agricole Meuse Ornain. En 1996, la CADAC, présente en Haute-Marne, rejoint la coopérative, suivi respectivement des coopératives d’élevage ALOTIS et CAPEVAL, en 2007 et 2011. Aujourd’hui, nous sommes une coopérative multimétiers. Le travail des collaborateurs d’EMC2 est ainsi d’orienter les productions agricoles vers les marchés, de rechercher les solutions agronomiques les mieux adaptées aux particularismes des terroirs, de distribuer les produits, les équipements nécessaires, et de regrouper, assembler et commercialiser les céréales. La coopérative est également actionnaire de Vivescia Industries, ce qui lui amène de nombreux outils industriels pour œuvrer dans les filières variées telles que celles de la maïserie, l’alimentation animale, le malt, la boulangerie ou les biocarburants.
