Job Description
**Job Title** Internal Account Manager **Role Summary** Accountable for managing a portfolio of B2B safety product accounts, driving profitable growth through consultative sales and account development. Operates in a hybrid environment, leveraging virtual selling techniques to expand market share and maintain strong customer relationships. **Expectations** - Deliver and exceed quarterly sales targets and margin objectives. - Expand existing accounts and capture new business within assigned territory. - Maintain accurate, up-to-date customer data and opportunity records in CRM. **Key Responsibilities** - Own portfolio of accounts, building and sustaining profitable relationships. - Pursue new business and reclaim market share, protecting and growing web share. - Use consultative selling to present quality, innovative solutions aligned with customer needs. - Manage quotations, pricing, and conversion to maximize margin. - Process and follow up on sales leads in line with SLA and business processes. - Analyse data/information to create and execute effective account plans. - Develop and run a call cycle plan covering all customers in the portfolio. - Update CRM with accurate account and opportunity information daily. **Required Skills** - Proven B2B sales record with proven ability to meet or exceed targets. - Virtual selling experience (telephone, video) in a B2B setting. - Strong relationship‑building and cross‑functional collaboration skills. - Commercial awareness: margin calculation and impact on profitability. - Proficiency in digital sales channels, social media, online performance. - Advanced IT/CRM skills; SAP C4C experience preferred. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum of a bachelor's degree (preferred). - Relevant sales or industry certifications (e.g., Certified Professional Sales Person, B2B Sales certification) are advantageous.
