Job Title: Technical Project Manager – Azure Integration & Data Services
Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end on‑prem to Azure transformation programmes focused on integration and data services. Deliver large‑scale migrations of workflows, eventing, and analytics to Azure using Azure Integration Services (AIS) and Azure Data Platform.
Expectations:
- Direct execution of Azure migration projects (not advisory or data collection).
- Provide technical oversight on AIS, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Data Factory, Azure SQL, Databricks, and related data services.
- Engage clients to co‑create transformational roadmaps, maintain stakeholder buy‑in, and demonstrate clear value.
- Deliver on schedule and within scope; be ready to transition to the role within 2 weeks’ notice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute migration phases, from assessment through cut‑over and post‑go‑live support.
- Translate business requirements into technical design for integration and data workflows.
- Act as technical liaison between client teams, architects, and implementation staff.
- Monitor project metrics, risks, and issues; report progress to senior stakeholders.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and adoption workshops for client users and technical teams.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and quality standards.
Required Skills:
- Proven delivery experience of Azure integration and data migration projects.
- Deep understanding of AIS components: Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Data Factory.
- Knowledge of Azure data services: Azure SQL, Databricks, Data Lake, Synapse (or equivalent).
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and consultative sales skills.
- Ability to work across multiple industries and stakeholder levels.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project).
- Self‑starter with ability to adapt to fast‑moving, client‑facing scenarios.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate, or Azure Developer Associate preferred.
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster) advantageous.
