**Job Title:** Senior Manager, Product Strategy – Media Mix Modeling (12‑month contract)
**Role Summary:**
Lead the Media Mix Modeling (MMM) program for a global consumer packaged goods (CPG) business. Drive end‑to‑end development and implementation of econometric and machine‑learning models to optimize media spend, provide actionable sales and marketing insights, and influence senior leadership decisions.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver high‑impact MMM analyses on schedule and within scope.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and data partners.
- Communicate complex findings clearly to senior executives and craft persuasive data‑driven narratives.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and risks to ensure successful outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Design, develop, and validate MMM and related multivariate regression or ML models using internal and external consumer data sources.
2. Integrate diverse data sets (panel, first‑party, second‑party, third‑party) to generate comprehensive media effectiveness insights.
3. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and brand teams to translate model results into actionable recommendations.
4. Lead stakeholder meetings, present findings, and influence budgeting and media planning decisions.
5. Oversee project planning, status reporting, and issue resolution throughout the 12‑month engagement.
6. Liaise with external agencies and data vendors (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, Kantar) to ensure data quality and alignment.
**Required Skills:**
- Proven experience with Media Mix Modeling or similar econometric/ML analytical projects.
- Strong quantitative background in multivariate regression, time‑series, or machine‑learning techniques.
- Expertise in CPG sales and marketing analytics, shopper/brand insights, and media effectiveness.
- Proficiency in data integration from consumer panels, first‑party (e‑mail, MAIDs), second‑party (retailer media, JBP), and third‑party sources.
- Excellent stakeholder management and senior‑level presentation abilities.
- Solid project‑management capabilities; ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems.
- Advanced proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, SAS, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field (required).
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional, PMP) are a plus.
