**Job title**: IT Software Developer Intern
**Role Summary**: 10‑week on‑site internship focused on design, development, testing, and deployment of internal software applications using Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#. The intern will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, contribute to code reviews, and support integration of APIs, databases, and third‑party services.
**Expectations**:
- Complete internship by end of spring 2026‑2027; maintain daily commitment to coding, testing, and documentation tasks.
- Deliver clean, efficient, and well‑documented code that meets team standards and project timelines.
- Actively participate in sprint planning, stand‑ups, and code reviews.
- Demonstrate strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy internal software components.
- Write readable, maintainable code in Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
- Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to gather requirements.
- Participate in code reviews and suggest process improvements.
- Integrate APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and third‑party services.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects.
- Assist in implementing AI‑driven features or automation tools.
- Document technical specifications, user guides, and workflow diagrams.
**Required Skills**:
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
- Understanding of software development life cycle and best practices.
