**Job Title:** Lead Automation Test Engineer **Role Summary:** Lead and manage an automation testing team to design, implement, and evolve scalable test automation frameworks and tooling. Combine technical leadership with strategic ownership of test automation practices to ensure high-quality software delivery and cross-team collaboration. **Expectations:** - Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to the automation team. - Own automation strategy, resource planning, and delivery of high-quality test solutions. - Advocate for continuous improvement in testing standards and processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead automation team management, including performance reviews, career development, and coaching. - Design and maintain scalable, reliable automated test frameworks and test suites. - Collaborate with project owners to define automation scope, allocate resources, and manage timelines. - Enforce code quality standards via peer reviews and governance. - Evaluate and integrate new automation tools and technologies. - Analyze test metrics to identify risks and drive process improvements. - Develop centralized automation reporting systems for stakeholders. - Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture. **Required Skills:** - Expertise in test automation frameworks (Azure DevOps, Cypress). - Advanced knowledge of test analysis, risk-based testing, and CI/CD pipelines. - Proven leadership in technical or automation team management. - Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Demonstrated proficiency in automation tooling and testing methodologies.
