**Job Title:** AI Agent Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and deploy AI agents that automate internal workflows and enhance business efficiency. Lead end‑to‑end project cycles from discovery through MVP release, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and build reusable, scalable AI frameworks.
**Expectations:**
- 4+ years of experience in AI/ML or software engineering.
- Proven track record delivering production‑grade AI solutions using LLMs, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), and related technologies.
- Ability to own projects autonomously from concept to deployment.
- Strong business acumen to translate requirements into practical AI applications.
- Excellent communication in English and French; comfortable working with non‑technical stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and implement AI agents for internal process automation and outcome optimization.
- Partner with product, tech, sales, and customer‑success teams to identify, assess, and prioritize AI use cases.
- Manage the full development lifecycle: discovery, prototyping, MVP delivery, iteration, and production monitoring.
- Create and maintain reusable frameworks, tools, and best‑practice libraries for scalable AI development (evaluation, testing, monitoring, deployment).
- Conduct technology scouting: evaluate emerging AI paradigms, tools, and libraries; maintain a continuous watch on advancements.
- Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to cross‑functional teams and non‑technical partners.
**Required Skills:**
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and at least one additional programming language (e.g., Java, Go, Scala).
- Hands‑on experience with large language models (LLMs), Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), and model‑centric pipelines (MCP).
- Production deployment expertise: CI/CD, containerization, cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and monitoring.
- Strong problem‑solving, project ownership, and autonomy.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Curiosity and commitment to continuous learning in AI/ML fields.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field (Master’s preferred).
- No specific certifications required; demonstrated expertise through work experience is essential.
