Job Description: **Job Title:** Network Engineer (Cisco Specialist) **Role Summary:** Design, support, and optimize network and security infrastructure using Cisco technologies. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure reliable, high-performance solutions. **Expectations:** Proven technical expertise in Cisco networking, proactive problem-solving, and ability to manage network lifecycle projects from design to maintenance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide 2nd/3rd line support for network technologies (LAN/WAN, security systems) - Manage network and security system design, performance reporting, and documentation - Monitor SLAs, resolve faults, and implement upgrades/installations - Develop automation/scripting solutions for network management - Support IT projects through deployment to operational handover - Proactively assess network capacity, performance, and security **Required Skills:** - Advanced Cisco technologies (routers, switches, security tools) - Firewalls (e.g., Checkpoint), Load Balancers - LAN/WAN, wireless, and cloud networking protocols - Scripting/automation (Python, Bash, SDN tools) - Network performance monitoring and optimization - Stakeholder communication and change management **Required Education & Certifications:** - Degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent - CCNA/CCNP certification preferred (minimum CCNA required for eligibility)
