Job Description
**Job Title**: Procurement and Supply Chain Manager **Role Summary**: Lead procurement and supply chain operations for engineering projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, compliance standards, and project requirements. Oversee team management, supplier governance, and end-to-end procurement processes to deliver cost-effective solutions. **Expectations**: Deliver supply chain strategies, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality protocols. Drive performance improvements, manage budgets, and act as a key interface for project and client needs. **Key Responsibilities**: - Strategic leadership of procurement, logistics, and materials management for engineering projects. - Develop and implement supply chain strategies to meet project and client requirements. - Manage full procurement cycle: sourcing, supplier qualification, tendering, negotiation, logistics, and contract close-out. - Oversee team performance, resource allocation, and supplier performance reviews to enhance value delivery. - Ensure adherence to HSSE, quality standards, and corporate policies. - Collaborate with project teams to align supply chain activities with execution plans and milestones. - Forecast and manage project supply chain budgets. - Facilitate supplier governance, compliance, and risk mitigation. - Validate supplier invoices for milestone progression and deliverable completion. - Act as primary point of contact for internal and client supply chain issues. - Maintain and optimize supply chain management systems. **Required Skills**: - Strategic supply chain planning and contract negotiation. - Procurement process execution (sourcing, tenders, supplier management). - Project management and budget oversight. - Leadership in cross-functional team development. - Risk mitigation and compliance with HSSE/quality standards. - Data analysis for supplier performance evaluation. - Strong communication for stakeholder coordination. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering. - Proven experience in procurement and supply chain roles within engineering or energy sectors. - Preferred certifications: Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP), Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), or PMP.
