Job Description: **Job title:** Software Developer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and maintain aviation industry software solutions as part of a hybrid team, collaborating with product management, engineering, and support functions to deliver high‑impact, mission‑critical applications. **Expectations:** - Deliver robust, 24/7 operational software in an agile, deadline‑driven environment. - Perform end‑to‑end testing, unit testing, and debugging of multi‑threaded applications. - Communicate requirements, progress, and issues clearly to stakeholders. - Support continuous improvement of development processes and tools. **Key Responsibilities:** - Invent new software solutions for engineering and design challenges. - Enhance and refactor existing products. - Gather and analyze software requirements with product management. - Plan, estimate, and schedule project timelines with the project team. - Assist customer support, sales, and marketing with technical insights. - Contribute to agile practices and collaborate across cross‑functional teams. **Required Skills:** - 3+ years Java application development experience. - Expertise in desktop client/server applications, critical operational software, and multi‑threaded design. - Strong background in Java networking (TCP/UDP, web & messaging services). - UI/GUI design proficiency (Java AWT/Swing). - Familiarity with UML, database schema design, and software lifecycle tools. - End‑to‑end testing, unit testing, and debugging skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Full‑stack development mindset, comfortable with both front‑end and back‑end. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
