**Job title**
Global Compliance Manager
**Role summary**
Lead the design, implementation and oversight of a global compliance programme covering 60+ jurisdictions. Provide expert advice on anti‑bribery, sanctions, trade controls, data privacy, human rights, and supply chain ethics. Report to senior audit and compliance leadership, deliver board‑level assurance, and drive cultural integrity and sustainability across the organisation.
**Expectations**
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal standards in a multinational setting.
- Deliver timely, actionable compliance guidance to business units.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of evolving laws and industry best practices.
- Foster a risk‑aware, ethical culture through training and communication.
- Support board and senior management with clear, data‑driven reports and independent assurance.
**Key responsibilities**
- Design, maintain and audit a comprehensive global compliance framework (policies, procedures, risk assessments).
- Advise on anti‑bribery, sanctions, export control, antitrust, privacy, human rights, and modern slavery regulations.
- Develop and deliver compliance training, awareness programmes and communication materials.
- Lead investigations, root‑cause analysis and remedial action plans; liaise with external regulators when required.
- Prepare board and audit committee briefings; provide independent assurance on compliance effectiveness.
- Champion zero‑harm safety culture and embed ethical principles in sustainability initiatives.
**Required skills**

- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to simplify complex legal concepts for varied audiences.

**Required education & certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
- Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CCEP, CRCM, Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) preferred.
- Minimum of 6‑10 years of compliance experience in a multinational corporation, with proven policy development, investigations and training delivery.
- Deep knowledge of FCPA, UK Bribery Act, GDPR, sanctions regimes, export controls and ESG frameworks.
