Job Title: System Engineer – Cyber Security (Azure, Active Directory, Entra ID)
Role Summary: Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable IT infrastructure across Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and Entra ID environments, ensuring system integrity, confidentiality, and availability.
Expactations:
- Deliver robust cyber‑security solutions for cloud and on‑premises infrastructure.
- Lead security architecture, policy enforcement, and continuous monitoring initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate zero‑trust principles and compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and deploy Azure resources with integrated security controls (Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel).
- Manage AD/Entra ID configurations, Group Policy, and identity federation.
- Configure and maintain network security components (firewalls, VPNs, endpoint protection).
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and incident response.
- Automate infrastructure and security processes using PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripts.
- Ensure adherence to NIST, ISO 27001, or equivalent security frameworks.
Required Skills:
- 8–10 years System Engineering experience with a cyber‑security focus.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and Entra ID.
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration, Group Policy, and identity management.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, or similar tools.
- Hands‑on experience with network security, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust, NIST, or ISO 27001 frameworks.
- Advanced scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, or equivalent are highly preferred.
