Job Title: AI & Data Strategy Consultant
Role Summary:
Senior consultant driving AI-driven digital transformation for banking and financial clients. Works at the interface of C‑level executives and technical teams, designing, delivering, and governing AI solutions that accelerate business processes and create measurable value.
Expectations:
- Deliver premium advisory services to top‑line decision makers, translating complex technical concepts into strategic insights.
- Own end‑to‑end project lifecycle: scoping, ROI definition, delivery, and post‑implementation adoption.
- Maintain a consultative relationship with senior banking leaders, providing thought leadership and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct strategy workshops and executive steering committees to define AI/Data roadmaps and business cases.
- Precisely scope AI initiatives (credit underwriting, risk, compliance, trading), estimate ROI, schedule, and resource needs.
- Translate business challenges into concrete AI solutions: LLM agents, copilots, intelligent automation.
- Design target architectures, operational models, and data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, ethics, and compliance.
- Lead cross‑functional delivery teams (data scientists, AI engineers, developers), ensuring on‑time, on‑budget, and high‑quality outcomes.
- Manage risk, report progress to clients, and facilitate change management for solution adoption.
- Participate in RFP responses, build client relationships, and represent counsel at sector events.
Required Skills:
- Strategic consulting, digital transformation, and end‑to‑end AI/Data project delivery.
- Deep understanding of AI technologies: LLMs, agent systems, machine learning, RAG.
- Proficiency in data governance, quality, and architecture.
- Familiarity with banking operations, risk, and compliance requirements.
- Strong presentation, storytelling, and executive communication skills.
- Leadership, active listening, empathy, and high‑level stakeholder management.
- Proficient in project management tools and presentation software.
- Bilingual in English (fluent) and French (native or bilingual).
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, finance, or related field (equivalent to Bac+5).
- 5+ years of experience in strategic consulting, digital transformation, or operational roles within banking/financial services.
- Proven record in managing AI/Data projects and interfacing with senior leadership.
